Delete your Lingo Copilot CCL account

You can delete your Lingo Copilot CCLaccount at any time, on the web or in the iPhone or Android app. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. Your account data is deleted straight away, and your recordings and other uploaded files right after.

On the web

  1. Sign in at app.ccl.lingo-copilot.com and open Settings.
  2. Scroll to Delete account at the bottom and select Delete my account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm and select Permanently delete.

In the iPhone or Android app

  1. Open the app and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Scroll to Delete account at the bottom and tap Delete my account.
  3. Type DELETE and tap Permanently delete.

If you signed in with Apple, deleting your account also disconnects Lingo Copilot CCL from your Apple ID.

What is deleted

  • Your practice and mock tests: every answer, its transcript, scores and AI feedback, the post-test review, and your ratings and reviews of them.
  • Your answer recordings, and any photo or result proof you shared with a customer story.
  • Your exam-readiness checks and analyses, and your vocabulary flashcards and progress.
  • Your feedback, messages with our team, questionnaire answers, unused coupons, customer story drafts and consents, streaks and milestones, and your email preferences.
  • Your profile: your email address, name, Google or Apple sign-in, profile picture, planned test date, referral link and the details you gave about how you found us are removed from the account, and you are signed out on every device.

What we keep

The account record itself stays, emptied of anything that identifies you, because payment records point to it. We keep, without your name or email address:

  • records of past payments and the access they granted, for tax and refunds;
  • referral rewards and coupons that were used on a payment, which are part of those records;
  • agency seat records, if an agency gave you access (the agency bought the seat).

How long recordings are kept

While your account exists, each answer recording is kept for 180 days after you record it and then deleted automatically. Your scores, transcripts and feedback stay until you delete your account; the results page shows that the recording is no longer available.

Payments

  • Plans bought on our website are one-time payments through Stripe. Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel. Any access left on your plan ends when you delete your account.
  • Plans bought in the iPhone app are one-time App Store purchases that don't renew. Apple handles their billing and refunds (reportaproblem.apple.com).
  • The Android app has no in-app purchases.

Agency staff accounts

Accounts of agency staff hold the agency's seats and its students' progress, so they can't be deleted from Settings. Email us and we will close the account.

Can't sign in?

Email support@lingo-copilot.com from the address of your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete the account and confirm by email.
